PRN alerts are automatically generated for PRN medication records that require a scheduled recheck. Once the recheck time is reached, an alert will appear on the dashboard and will remain until it is dismissed.
To dismiss a PRN alert:
- Click the PRN Alert on the dashboard Notifications or the resident's banner Notifications.
- The PRN record will open.
- Select the Alerts tab. (The record contains three tabs: PRN Details, Outcomes, and Alerts.)
- Click the blue Dismiss link.
The alert will be removed from the dashboard once it has been dismissed.
