If you need to adjust the scheduled time for an intervention that already has charting history (for example, changing from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM), you cannot simply overwrite the time. Instead, follow these steps:

Step 1: End the Current Intervention

  • Go to the resident’s Care Plan / Interventions.

  • Locate the intervention scheduled at the old time (e.g., 8:00 AM).

  • Add an End Date to close out this intervention.

    • This preserves all past charting history for compliance.

Step 2: Create a New Intervention

  • Create a new intervention for the same activity.

  • Enter the new passing time (e.g., 11:00 AM).

  • Save the new intervention.

Step 3: Verify Charting

  • Check the resident’s eTask screen to ensure the new intervention now appears at the updated time.

  • The old intervention with its charting history will remain available in reports and logs.

⚠️ Reminder: Do not delete interventions with charting history. Always end-date the old one and create a new one. This ensures your records remain complete and auditable.
