Alerts on a PRN is done by scheduling a re-check re-schedule time on a charted PRN. The alert goes off at the time of the re-scheduled time. The alert sits to the left of the Medication Description box on the PRN charting screen. To remove the alert, hover your finger (on a touch screen) or mouse over the alert. A message box opens asking if you want to remove the alert. Click OK.
